Regions Riding Forward Scholarship

Regions will award a $5,000 scholarship to sixteen high school seniors who live in states with Regions branches and will attend college during the 2016 – 2017 academic school year.

Who inspires you?

Of all the African-Americans who have made significant achievements and innovations for our society, is there one in particular who inspires you?
Write about an African-American who has inspired and motivated you, and you could win a $5,000 or $3,500 scholarship.
Your essay should, in 500 words or less:
(a) address how an African-American has been an inspiration in your life, and (b) discuss the contributions of the African-American individual who has served to inspire and motivate you.
