Wings Over America Scholarship Information

Attention Navy Dependents

If your parent is currently serving or has served in the Navy in an aviation command (squadron, naval air station, carrier, etc.), you could be eligible to apply for a Wings Over America Scholarship. Four Year College, Community College and Trade & Technical School scholarships available.

 October 1st: 2015-2016 Scholarship season opens; online pre-qualification available
 February 1st: Submission deadline for online pre-qualification form
 March 1st: Submission deadline for completed online application.

Jacksonville Fair Scholarship

Eligible Students: Students must reside in Duval, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Nassau, or St. Johns Counties.  Students must be high school seniors and planning to enroll in a four year university, junior college, or technical institution.

The scholarship package must contain an essay of 500 words or less briefly discussing the applicants background and leadership abilities and 3 original letters of recommendation.  Applicants should list any awards, special recognition or community, high school, sorority, fraternity, civic, or religious organizations in which they are now or have been involved and their leadership experience within those organizations.  The letters of recommendation should be written on letterhead.

DO NOT FOLD OR STAPLE the information you are submitting.  The complete scholarship packages (including letters of recommendation) may be mailed, sent electronically, or hand delivered.  It must be received by OCTOBER 1st.  All applicants will be notified of the results during the first week of the Greater Jacksonville Fair where the names of the scholarship winners will be announced.
