Dear Florida Educator
You and your school
have already been invited to participate in the 2015-2016 Holocaust
Reflection Contest hosted by Nova Southeastern University and sponsored by
the Holocaust Learning and Education Fund, Inc. This initiative for Florida
middle and high school students is an opportunity for them to reflect on the
timeless wisdom and lessons of Holocaust survivors—while applying for a
chance to win a trip to Washington, D.C.
This is a reminder that the contest application opens on
December 1.
If your students are going to participate, they are
required to submit their entries (an essay, poem, visual art piece, or short
film) using our online application, which will be made available at the Holocaust
Reflection Contest website December 1, 2015–January 22, 2016. We hope you
will encourage your students to participate.
Please visit our website for the contest rules, Holocaust
survivor testimonials, last year's winning entries, and printable fliers. If
you have any questions, or would like to be removed from our mailing list,
please email holocaustessay@nova.edu
or call (954) 262-8185.
Thank you,
