Just want to send you a reminder that your students are
invited to apply for the Mercer University annual Engineering Scholarship
Challenge. We have received a number of applications but there are
still seats available for seniors thinking about our programs in Engineering,
Industrial Management, or Technical Communication.
Each year we award valuable scholarships to high school
seniors who visit with us and complete our ‘Challenge’ event. We have an
open house, campus tours, breakfast and lunch, and of course our
‘Challenge’. We use a test of math and vocabulary skills to help us make
scholarship awards that we announce before Christmas. Students do not
need to have applied to Mercer – this is a day when students and their family
are invited to spend time with our faculty and students to imagine what a
university experience with us would be like.
This year the event is Saturday, November 14 and I
have enclosed below the original invitation emailed to you earlier this
month. Students go to engineering.mercer.edu/scholarship to
apply for a seat.
